First Class!

Just had my first class: Statistics.
It was from 9:30 to 10:45 and it actually went by pretty fast. The teacher was pretty good. He’s nice and friendly.
He wrote the workbook that we use himself. There were about 25 people in the class, and it seemed that most of them were about a year older than me, but I couldn’t really tell. (most kids were put into college algebra)
Anyway, I think I will enjoy the class.

There are many things that I have on my to do lists, so I'm working out my priorities. Right now, the top thing on my list is the work-study fair at 2:30 today. Which they informed us yesterday that we should “come prepared with a pitch, and dress to impress.” How seemingly random. Anyway, I have to update my resume, and fill out some paperwork.

I wish I could write more, but I want to make sure I get that done first.

Fishies! (again!)

We got fish for our dorm!!!!!
They're awesome.
We named them Bankus and Hall.

(I live in Bankus Hall)
Now the fishies on my blog have company!

The black one is Bankus, and the orange one is Hall

Sorry, I haven't really had any time to write much, but I've been quite busy. Classes start tomorrow. I should be around soon!

You should totally write to me at college!

Please! I promise I'll write back! (as soon as I have time, because of course, work comes first! haha)

Hi :)

So, its about 7:20am and all is quiet in Burlington, Vermont. The college kids have all fallen asleep, and peace is all around. Hahahahah. Until alarm clocks start ringing around 7:30-8. Breakfast is from 8-9 today, the start of another long but fun day of orientation.

I am now officially a Vermonter

That title has been bestowed upon us by the head of the Vermont National Guard.

I'm so thrilled to be here. Everyone is so nice, and everything is so fun, I have no idea where to start. I would really like to sit here, and write a really long post telling you everything that I did today, but It's 12:30AM and I just got back from a cruise on Lake Champlain, and I've had a pretty long day. So it's safe to say that I'm pretty exhausted. I wish I could say more, and show pictures, and everything, but I need some rest.

Tomorrow looks just as busy. Don't worry, I'm doing my best to get you a post asap!

Talk to you soon!

Vermont!

I'm in Vermont, and very excited. In less than 12 hours, I will be moving into my new home. It's real.

Right now, I'm at my hotel, about nine minutes away from Champlain, and I'm strategizing my arrival tomorrow. Champlain is located in a relatively residential neighborhood, and as a result, the streets are very small. I'm expecting full gridlock, as people try to park as close as possible to their houses. Residence halls open at 8, and hopefully, that's when I'll get there.

I could have sworn that I had more to say, but right now, I'm probably too excited to think straight! Heheheh

I'm excited

Which may explain why I can't sleep right now. later today, I'll be loading my stuff (except for everything that I've forgotten) into the car, and setting sail for Vermont.

Okay, maybe I'm not setting sail, because I'm not Alex, and this aint a boat, but you get my drift.

Anyway, I invite you to text me to see how I am faring on my adventure, just remember that I tend to do a lot of the driving on these road trips, so it could take me an hour to respond, but when I stop to take a break, I'll be happy to hear from you! :) talk to you soon!

Am I done packing?

I have no idea. How do you know when you're done packing up a chunk of your life? Weirdly enough, my room doesn't look very different. Either because I'm forgetting a huge amount of things, or because I like to hold on to stuff. It's probably the latter.

Although, as I probably said before, I'm fully expecting to forget a bunch of things. It's inevitable. Hopefully nothing too important.

Also, my room still looks like a mess. For me, packing can never be truly "complete" until the moment I begin loading the bags into the car. Until then, I'll still be "packing"

(and Jammin!)

Halfway (or more) through packing...

I will now take a break from packing to let you in on something that really grinds my gears.

Most of you know that I hate umbrellas. I don't need one for myself, because I like the rain, but more importantly, I am eye level with everyone else's umbrella. This is why I can never walk through busy places like Times Square in the rain. It is actually quite frightening, how careless people can be with their umbrellas, and occasionally, I will put my sunglasses on because I fear for my own eyes.

Did you know that Taio Cruz is British?

I didn't

Watch out, he might break (break) your heart!

Tomorrow (technically today) is going to be hectic

It is the last day before I leave for Champlain, and many things must be done.
Damnit, I meant to have the entire post appear here, but I accidentally inserted the jump break, so you'll have to click "go on" sorry!

Packing, and other things

Today, I actually started packing. As of now, most of my clothes are packed. I still need to do some laundry, and figure out some other stuff. The rest of my things have not been packed. That's all going to have to happen tomorrow, when I can officially register (hopefully) that I will be leaving the next day.

Kickin' it like Adiddas

This is my second attempt at posting a video on my blog. Hopefully this time it works a little better

So, I'm actually going a tad insane (again?)

I haven't started packing at all. This is relatively normal. What I like to do is make detailed packing checklists, and then put everything together last minute. Most things I take with me I use every day, so packing them three days in advance wouldn't help.

The problem with this packing situation is that its not the usual vacation...I have to think of things that I don't usually hav(owww, some girl just lost her balance and walked on my foot)e to think about. For instance, do I need to bring my stapler? Hole puncher? And other little things like that.

My other issue is with the little things that you gather up over the years, that you don't necessarily use often, but when you need them, you know they're there. For instance, blank cd's, index cards, memory cards, and the like. This is what's stressing me. The whole "will I need it?" factor. All in all, I'm trying to only bring with me the bare necessities, but things like staplers, which I rarely use, may have to stay home.

For the record, I just wrote this entire blog post while I was riding the train!

The club can't even handle me right now

Hello there. First off, I'd like to apologize for the lack of posts yesterday. I was quite busy, and when I got home, I was really tired (got very little sleep the night before), and I developed a headache. The same thing happened this night. I couldn't fall asleep despite my exhaustion. That stinks.

BlackBerry!!!

I am thrilled to have acquired a used BlackBerry as a replacement for my old one, which died unexpectedly. More on this later, as I'm currently busy by this new arrival!
Of course, I still have all my contacts. Here's my new PIN (which you shouldn't need to scan unless you were not already friends with me before the disaster)

US Airways

If you weren't previously subjected to my complaints, you may not know that last month, I was delayed five hours in Charlotte, NC on my way to Aruba because of US Airways being annoying and whatnot.

Ben or Benjamin?

I really don't care which you call me. I don't usually notice the difference. The fact of the matter is, I'll turn around as soon as I hear "Ben."
Here are the ways I'll introduce myself:

I don't like how bacon shrinks when you cook it

You get less bacon :(

I hate people who complain about stamp prices

Not that I know anyone who has, but still.

Think about it. For less than 50 cents, your letter will be transported anywhere in the united states, usually within several days. Now think of all the things that have to be done to get that letter there. Say, you're in NYC, and you're mailing me a letter at Champlain in Burlington, Vermont.

  1. Someone has to pick up the letter from the mailbox
  2. It must be transported to the post office. (fuel cost)
  3. Sorted, and sent to a distribution center
  4. Loaded onto a plane to Burlington as cargo (cargo cost)
  5. Sorted in Burlington
  6. Brought to my school
Now that I've put things into perspective, doesn't it seem like a bargain?

Awww, so adorable

Other people have good ideas too!

My dear friend SuperCollie has suggested that I address the lack of auto-correct features when writing these blog posts. I completely agree. I for one, hate seeing the lowercase letter "I" alone, and I'm used to having Word auto-correct it for me. But Blogger doesn't :(

My other pet peeve is that the font regularly and randomly switches back to Times, which I hate. And there's no easy way (that I know of) to change the default font without rifling through the HTML code, and these days, my brain is way too busy to sort through code, and make sure I don't crash my formatting.

My apologies to Colleen, who I could not think of a better nickname for at this hour, and I have been left wondering why she is no longer the princess.

-Jammin (to Ballroom Blitz)

Hello. I am going just a tad insane [Updated]

Let me take a break from being extremely busy to write this blog post, and hopefully relax a little bit. This might be a really long post. Sit tight

My sleep schedule is out of whack

and it is quite annoying. Especially since my days are packed from morning to night. I have tons of things to do, and I'm kinda liking being so darn busy. And it doesn't help that I cannot fall asleep until random times like 2am.

You know how some foods come with recloseable packaging?

Well then it's meant to be re-closed! Don't leave it open, because that really grinds my gears! I mean, it couldn't be any easier!!!! Just close it!!! Gahh!

Today, I was wrong

very, very wrong.
So, Annie, I'd like to start off by apologizing to you. Mainly for ridiculing you for the entire evening about how presumably wrong you were. I was so certain that The Center School had moved two years ago, that I was ready to call my advisor to prove Annie wrong.

I can't put it off any longer...

I have to go to the French Consulate to pick up my ID card.
You see, this all started back when I was 17, and I realized that in order to "claim" French citizenship through my mother, it has to be done before turning 18.

Cause you're amazing

just the way you are.

I don't really have any reason at all for writing this blog post. No thoughts, ideas, anything. I just wanted to write something, but unfortunately I couldn't think of anything interesting to say.

The Fishies Might Actually Stay...

For a bit longer at least.
emma asked me last night to leave them up, because she did not get a chance to play with them, and now I feel like they have found a home on my page. So, they're here for now.
Please though, don't fatten them up. It's pretty hard to stay Jammin when you're fat!

Will someone please explain to me

Why cars do front flips when shot at?
Now, you're just gonna have to trust me on this one, because for some stupid reason, I cant pull up any of the trailers. But if you've ever seen an action movie where cars get shot at head on, THEY SOMEHOW DO A COMPLETE FRONT FLIP!! Now, I have seen at least five previews for action movies where this happens, and none of them make any sense.
The car is shot at head on, and then it does a forward flip. Just like that. There is no logical explanation for how this could possibly happen. And THAT, really grinds my gears!
I'm drawing a blank trying to find proof, and I know that this post is somewhat less credible without it, but I'm tired right now, and impatient. If you don't believe me, ask Juan/Matt/Alex.

Reactions

are very important. Which is why I added those little checkboxes under every post. Its equivalent to the "like" button on facebook. If you're too lazy to comment, how about you just click on the box?!

But really, if you're lazy, you aren't really Jammin!

Can someone please explain to me

why alcohol is so cool?

Guess What?

As part of ongoing remodeling (haha, more like creating), I'm slightly changing the appearance of my blog.

Taco Truck...

Is where I get the other half of my Mexican food (after Chipotle, of course)(Not literally like I go there after Chipotle, I mean, in ranking...)

Anyway, I was not in attendance for the first trip to Taco Truck, and I was never that intrigued to go, even though it was only two blocks away from my house. For some reason, I just figured that I wouldn't like it. Boy, was I wrong.

For $2 a pop, you can get a delicious fresh taco made right there. And for $2 more, you can get another one!

Their menu is pretty extensive, and mostly in Spanish. It's pretty funny actually, because sometimes people who haven't been there before try and order in Spanish, even though they don't actually have to. Not that ordering in Spanish is hard or anything...We've taken three years of Spanish, it shouldn't be too hard to say "dos Al Pastor (my favorite taco) por favor."

Make sure to top it off with some spice, and you are good to go! Those things are addictive. I've been out there at midnight many times. I think I may have surpassed Juan (my main Mexican) in visits. The people there actually recognize me. Its pretty funny.

They're there from the evening to late at night, and always waiting for your order. And don't forget an apple soda-then you'll truly be Jammin!!!

This is what's up!

Fishies!

Are awesome! Which is why for a limited time, they will be visiting me on my blog!
But they wont stay long, so don't be surprised if they're gone tomorrow!
Why? Well because they slow down the loading of the page, and might even freeze up your browser, and I don't want to do that to you!
So, hang out with them for a while, and feed them too! But not too much food, I don't want them to become fat! (because then it's hard to stay Jammin!)

Chipotle...

has played a pivotal role in my eating habits for over two years. I'm sure that most of you are aware of "Chipotle Mondays," and have probably seen or heard me rushing out the rest of the crew immediately after third period classes.

I was extremely saddened to discover that there are no Chipotle locations in Burlington, let alone in the entire state of Vermont. During one of my visits, I discovered their local burrito restaurant, Boloco (Which stands for BOston LOcal COmpany). Used to the simplicity of ordering at Chipotle, I was then forced to grapple with decisions such as whether I wanted an original, small, or mini-sized burrito. The burrito was then prepared out of my sight behind the counter. Anyone who has ordered at Chipotle knows that the burrito is only truly yours when you watch, and guide them in making it. Especially when the appearance of a new employee makes it necessary to ask for "a little more chicken, please."

When I received my burrito, it was a very uniform size-something I was not too thrilled about. Chipotle burritos have a noticeable bulge, and never look alike. This one was almost too perfect. Now to be fair, burritos are meant to be eaten on the spot, or within several minutes of their creation. Since I was alone, I walked back to my hotel with it, leaving about a ten minute gap.

I was very saddened when I took my first bite. Perhaps I expected too much of them, but in all honesty, I did not like the burrito. But as I had nothing else to eat, I continued. The flavors just weren't right. The chicken didn't taste grilled, more like roasted, which was unappetizing, and the corn/salsa flat out tasted foreign. I was not able to finish the burrito.

Now, even Chipotle can make a "meh" burrito on rare occasions, so I am willing to give Boloco a second chance when I return to Burlington this month. But even if this time the burrito tastes better, it will never replace the place in my heart (and stomach) that is reserved for Chipotle.

Epilogue:
There may be a light at the end of the (very long) tunnel: Chipotle has a link on their website for people to suggest new locations. But they are quite detailed in the process, so they are requesting an actual location that is free for them to move in to. As I believe Burlington would be the perfect location for them to open up a store, I will recommend it to them as soon as I can. And if they wont do it, maybe I'll ask Qdoba. Although, I must admit, I have never tried their burritos.

If you read through this, congratulations on reading my random food review. If not, well, too bad, you clearly ain't Jammin.

Ahhhhhhh! JetBlue!

JetBlue has brought back their "All You Can Jet" offer, where for 30 days, you get unlimited flights for one price. Now, I love flying and everything about it, and when they introduced it last summer, I really really wanted to do it. It's back again, but during the first month of college! ARGGHHHH!

So, unfortunately, it's still not right for me. Imagine how awesome it would be just flying to random places for the day, just because you can! It's sorta expensive too, but I think that it is something worth saving up for. I am determined to do this one year, so if anyone out there wants to go on an awesome month long, cross-country adventure with me, you better start saving up!

And then we can be Jammin in the plane together!!!

Well, I was just given an iTunes gift card

Remember how I said I used LimeWire for my music? Well, I love iTunes, and use it to organize my music, but I've never actually purchased anything from them. One of the issues I have is that I can't stand paying for things when I don't get anything physical in return. As in, I cant actually hold the download, as I could with say, a CD.

Knowing that any song you want is available out there for free is a huge turn off for buying music. If I download something and I don't like it, no big deal. But if i spent money on it, and I don't like the song, it gets a little annoying.

So, I know that I'm going to be thinking really carefully about which songs I buy with the gift card, and hopefully I won't spend it all on Ke$ha.

Either way, I should be able to stay Jammin!!!
:D

Ben and Jerry's

is pretty awesome...
Last month when I went up to Champlain, we took a trip to their factory. I actually expected it to be way bigger than it was. Their production room was not bigger than the MHS cafeteria, not counting the high ceilings. It was weird to think that all the Ben and Jerry's ice cream in the world was made right there in that small room. Also, when we were there, we got to try a new flavor: Milk and Cookies, which I promise you, is literally the same thing as cookies and cream (although I realize now that they never made a cookies and cream flavor), the only difference is that the cookies are not chunky.

My Ticket

Surrealism (not a word? I dont care)

First off, I'd like to note when I googled Surrealism to see if it was actually a word (unfortunately it is), one of the image results was the image on nora's blog. Weird, no?

Anyway, back to whats surreal: College.
I'm not registering that I leave next week. I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but it sure is weird. I'm still living in the present, which I now love doing, and I'm encouraging everyone else to do it too. There's so much less to worry about that way. No use in worrying about something a week away when you have something to take care of right now.

Speaking of right now, I just downloaded a bunch of music on LimeWire. Now, i know this is very mean of me, and possibly hypocritical of me based on the exhibition paper I wrote (although I don't remember my conclusion, so I think I'm okay for now), but anyway, I don't know if it's a good idea to use LimeWire in college, because word around the block (and my exhibition paper, i think) is that they crack down hard on that sort of thing.

That's okay though, I'll walk down to Church Street, and download my music in a cafe.

And that way, I'll stay Jammin! :D

It's been over a month...

that I've been separated from my dear BlackBerry. Most of you probably know by now what happened, and all the details from when I wouldn't stop ranting about it. But nothing has changed. It's in Canada still, and they're doing everything they can to save it. But in the thousands of BlackBerries they have worked with, they've never seen an issue like mine.

You may wonder why I've held out so long, and haven't just replaced the phone... Well I hate replacing things until I find it really necessary, and I still have some hope that something can be done to save my device. I don't want to sign a new contract, because I don't like the current offerings, and I wanted to wait.

On a more positive note, I think being forcefully separated from my BlackBerry has helped me relax and disconnect more this summer. I just hope to get it back before I go away. The technician working on my phone asked me to give him until Wednesday, and at that point we'll discuss our options. But he promised that he would take care of me.

So, I'm staying positive.

Me and my BlackBerry-7/11/09
For a short while, I even had twins!

27 Minutes...

That's how long it took for the Dean of the Division of Information Technology & Sciences at Champlain College to answer a question I had about my computer. This makes me happy :) I was expecting to wait a day or two for a response.
He's very nice. I met him before.

College Shopping

So, I've decided to do the bulk of my college shopping on Amazon.com
Why?
  • Because I love amazon, and I get free two-day shipping with prime (and you can too with a .edu email address)
  • I love getting packages. It's so awesome.
  • I don't have to make multiple trips to the store
  • I intend to travel to college with only the bare necessities, and then just order whatever I need as I need it... that way, I'm not buying anything that wont work, wont fit, or i simply wont need. clever no? Bet you treehuggers didn't think of that ;)

I've Ben-Jammin all mornin!

Counting Coins

Every day when I get home, I usually dump my change into the Commerce Bank bank on my desk. Then, every couple of months, it fills up, and I have to walk down the block, holding $60-$80 dollars in coins to get them counted. I hate doing it though, and usually put it off for a long time...

One reason is that one time I went there with my dad, and he counted some of his coins before mine, the amount of money he got was less than he expected, but that was that. Then I counted my coins, and the machine got jammed. We called someone over. It turns out that over half of my dads coins had gotten stuck, but cute lil Penny didn't bother to tell us. If I hadn't counted my coins right after my dad, we could have lost $40. This leaves me pretty paranoid every time I count my coins.

So, instead of asking someone to check the machine after I count my coins, (those things are heavy) I try to sort a precounted number of coins separately to make sure it gets it right.

All this reminds me of a time when I was younger, and something else happened: The quarter bag had filled up, and needed changing. This is relatively routine procedure (for a Jew at least, who tends to have a lot of money to count). But when the worker took off the bag to replace it, a whole bunch of quarters poured onto the floor.

Now naturally, when coins hit the floor, everyone turns around, especially in a bank. So, to remedy the situation of the quarters chillin on the bank floor, some of them mine, and some of them not, the guy just starts dumping them back into the sorting hopper, regardless of whether they were mine or not. Free money ftw!!

Wow, this was a long post. I can't believe I've been Jammin this early!
My Commerce Bank bank :)

Kid Cudi

Did you know that Kid Cudi is black? Me neither. Now I really want a Shake Shack Burger...
Mah man. (Not really, I just kinda like Day and Nite)

Oh! I remember what I wanted to say!!!

So, as some of you know, McDonalds decides to have their McFlurry machines shut off automatically at midnight every night, and the staff has no one to turn them back on. Now, I don't know about you, but at 12:30am, I want me a snack size McFlurry with m&ms, and when they tell me they cant serve it, it makes me want to go all McNugget lady on them.
Watch... (Start at 1:15 for the good stuff)

Okay, now that we got that over with...I realize that I forgot the rest of what I wanted to say... Darn!!

Mail...

Those of you who know me will know that I love sending and recieving mail, and especially packages (shout out to emma! Where the heck is my letter, btw?) So, in college, I expect all of you to help me with my love for mail, by writing back to my letters, and sending me random stuff in return!

As soon as I organize myself, I will let you know the address where you can write to yours truly, and expect happiness in return. (allow at least a week, including mailing time)

Yo, my font keeps switching back to Times when I hit enter every so often, and it's quite annoying, because I like Arial. Ima have to fix that default...

I'm also being told that I should have made a tumblr, because yadda yadda yadda. Well I made a blogspot. Sorry. I'm partial to Google. You'll deal. Plus, when I'm writing my blog, I don't wanna think of tumbling and falling...

Driving, More about blogs, and whatever I think of

So, this morning I came to the realization that I've probably driven over 5,000 miles since I obtained my learners permit. When I mentioned that to my dad, he said that he thought it might be a little bit more than that. The car we drive now is one year and four months old, and already has 20,000 miles on it. The last car had 40,000 miles for three years. I'd say that I drove at least a fourth of the miles on each car. That's a hell of a lot of driving. It kinda makes me wish I kept some sort of logbook, but I wouldn't have the patience to write it down every time I got into the car.

Where do I drive, you ask? Wherever... We always go somewhere on the weekends, my brother's soccer games, or just random trips upstate. It all adds up! When I look at the date that my learners permit was issued (I still carry it around in addition to my Drivers License), it's hard to believe that I started driving (legally) all the way back in 2008.

Anyway, I realize now that I'd like people to follow my blog, that I probably have to follow theirs too. Meh. :D It seems like such a chore. I don't even get updates when people post things. I'll have to make myself an rss feed to make it easier.

So, now I'm concerned that I've been rambling about boring stuff for too long, but I don't care. This is my blog, and I can do what I want. (and hopefully you'll like it) :)

Oh, i have an idea! You know how in an earlier post, I was talking about the few things I kept in my pockets in cape cod? Well here are pictures!

The contents of my left pocket...Random cash

The contents of my right pocket...
Awesome!
Thats all for now!
-Jammin

:D

Hi hi hi!

Okay, so this whole blog thing excites me because I feel like I have so much to say (don't I always). Today, when I was on the train, I thought of some things to write here, and then I got really annoyed because I didn't want to forget them. Damn, I can't remember what I was gonna say. It will come back to me... I hope. Grrrrr

Anyway, I'm going to aim to write here at least once a day, and maybe even multiple posts (because it might be easier to separate my thoughts.) Btw, I'm really annoyed that I cant remember what I wanted to say... Also, Two Boots finally opened by my house. Good thing I'm moving out in two weeks... Holy cow! I'm moving out in two weeks!!!! Omg!
Brb, I gotta get more pasta...

Back. Mmm, pasta with vodka sauce! (or as Juan and that billboard would say: Wodka!) (there's also a weird accent somewhere in that word. Maybe over the O)

Anyway, I don't know how you guys are gonna know that I wrote a new post, as sometimes it might be early in the day, and other times late. So, I'm just gonna have to trust you to check in every so often, because I don't want to have to spam facebook with notifications that I wrote a new post. *cough* Nora E *cough*

So, yeah, I'm annoyed that I cannot remember what I actually wanted to say, so you'll have to give me a little bit of time to remember...Stick around for the next update, and stay Jammin!
 :)

Saturday, August 14, 2010

Anyway...

I'm quite excited about this blog. I wanna make it work. But of course, you have to help me by reading it, because it's not as fun if no one reads it! :D

I think that's enough about Cape Cod for now, so unless I remember some other totally awesome thing, thats probab...holy cow, I really tanned a lot!! Wow! I might even be able to pass for Chris Rock!*

I want to write more, but I'm also quite tired, and Alex is in Florida and what not, so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. Oh, maybe I'll just make this post a little longer, just to annoy Sammie because her posts are totally weak :D
<3

But on a more serious note, my head is starting to hurt, so I should probably get some rest!
Stay tuned, and stay Jammin!

*okay, maybe not.

More about Cape Cod...

Cape Cod is awesome. I love the laid back atmosphere of everything, and the total devotion New England has to their sports teams. Its really amusing to see the destination sign on busses go from saying "Provincetown" to "Go Red Sox!!!", complete with little socks on each side.
Some of the busses say "Go Pats!!!" with lil footballs, and others say "Please don't drink" "and drive"

Right now, I'm trying to think of some sort of argument that I got into with a store clerk or someone, but I can't think of anything... Sorta strikes me as weird, I always usually have some form of an altercation, no matter how minor.

Our house was within walking distance of town, but we were also immensely glad that we (I insisted) brought all three bikes with us. Even though I slightly outgrew mine, it was still awesome.

I tried to do a little bit of "biddyhunting" because Juan would have wanted that, but I realized that it's quite hard without a wingman. And Matt and I had trouble syncing our schedules (or lack thereof)

Actually, now that I think of it, when I was leaving Cumby's (read:Cumberland Farms) last night after filling up the tank, and picking up a snack, a girl passed by, and I turned around. Now, it must just be instinct, because I didn't really see her face or anything, I just randomly turned around. Then out of nowhere, in some stupid chumpy voice, some guy says "hey, don't look at my girlfriend."

So. I'm gonna pause now, and recollect my thoughts. I'd appreciate any feedback you have, as I'm totally new to this nonsense!

Where to start???

It's weird, all of a sudden, I feel like I have so much to say! But I have no idea what I should say... So, in true Ben fashion:
  • I dont know if i like this color scheme, I may keep it, but I might also change it. it might be hard on the eyes. Idk. Okay, cool
  • I just came back from Cape Cod. It was absolutely awesome. I don't want to be back.
  • There was supposed to be killer traffic leaving the Cape, but there was none. (:P Matt)
  • Drive-Ins are awesome. I hope to go to another one soon.
  • I ate a lot of ice cream. Between Sundade School (clever, no?) and DQ, I was fully satisfied. Although I wish I had been to DQ several more times.
  • I kept my trend of leaving my cell phone at home, and not wearing my watch. I added to this awesomeness by eliminating the need for my wallet: I stuffed a bunch of cash in my left pocket, and kept a credit card, my CVS card, and a $5 in my right pocket. Then, I put my wallet in the glove compartment, to ensure that I would always have my drivers license.
  • More to come.... Stay tuned!

Here goes nothing...

Okay, lets see if I can make this work...

With everyone going their separate ways, I'm afraid that I won't have as many opportunities to share my wisdom with you, so maybe I'll be able to do it here. :D
All you have to do is read.
And, uhh, all I have to do is write. Which, might be harder than it seems, because I never liked writing that much. Although now that I'm writing about things that interest me, it should be a lil bit easier.

Anyway, expect lots of random ramblings, and annoying rants. It doesn't really matter whether you care or not, because it's most likely the same sort of thing you'd be subjected to if you saw me often. So, if you find yourself needing a little piece of Ben in your life...Well, you know where to come. (hahahaha, that might be what she said!)

Love,
Benjamin
